Product Review: Silkygirl Precision Liquid Eyeliner

i don't know what took me so long to come up with this review. i might have gone through about 49217560 tubes of this Silkygirl Precision Liquid Eyeliner by now. literally.

i bought my first tube in 01 Black when i was 15 or 16, i guess.. and ever since, i kept on repurchasing it. this is definitely my holy grail liquid liner.

the reason why i like it so much is because it glides on easily on the skin and very easy to be removed (although it's stated on the tube that it's waterproof. in fact this liner comes off very easily with water) which is something that is actually very convenience for Muslim women since we need to take all makeup off that creates barrier against the skin before wudhu'. you don't even need to use soap or makeup remover. and the best part is, it doesn't leave a stain on your eyes.

one tube lasts me up to over five months. considering the way i use the liner (i usually line my whole top lid lightly since i already have big eyes), this product is totally worth the price (in fact the price is ridiculously low. i'm pretty sure it costs less than RM20). it's available in most local drugstores (Guardian, Watsons) and to me, it's capable of giving a satisfying result, despite not being known as a high-end brand. you may not like it if you're into eyeliners that last all day long, but i prefer something like this. that doesn't require much effort to be removed.

this eyeliner gives a glossy finish, which can instantly 'wake' your face up. it really helps to freshen my entire face every time i had sleepless nights. i love the felt-tip brush. it's not too thin, which makes application super easy. however the brush turns furry after awhile, so you have to be extra careful as you might apply a little bit thicker than your usual lines as the sharp point becomes kembang lepas dah guna banyak kali, haa you get my point kan

this is what i meant earlier, about the brush

can you tell how intense it is?

here's how i normally wear the eyeliner. i keep the line thin on my top lid and at the end of the line i would add a little wing, just  because i thought it looks nicer that way lewls. i rarely line my bottom lid but when i do, i would only softly line the outer three quarters of the eye, avoiding the inner corner entirely. for this particular task i would use a pencil liner. (p.s. sorry for bad close-up photo)

the eyeliner doesn't smudge. but as i mentioned earlier, it melts away easily once in contact with water, including tears. so if you ever end up crying while watching sappy movies, don't expect the lines will remain the same. just remember to carry a spare tube in your bag, just in case.

this is the one and only product that i've been using since i was in my teenage years. i'm nearly 22 and it's still on my favourite list, so that says a lot. i've recommended this exact eyeliner to some friends and they love it as much as i do. so why don't you give it a try?
